Besiana Balla

Besiana is a Applied Research Lead at PUBLIC, her expertise in early stage growth was acquired during her tenure at Entrepreneur First, Berlin, where she spent 2 years on the Programme team, helping to form and fund early stage deep tech companies. Previously, she was a Lecturer at Science Po Paris,  and a Coordinator at the Institute for New Economic Thinking in New York, where she partnered with universities, organizations and the public sector in promoting an innovation-driven growth paradigm. While at INET she co-founded DEcon, an organisation that promotes diversity and representation in the economics profession.
