Following 12 months of unprecedented crisis in which governments around the world experienced a rapid, transformative shift in the way they use technology, this session asks: ‘What’s next for Digital Government’ in 2021.
The January inauguration of US President-elect Joe Biden will fire the starting-gun on a year of major global policy and political implications. With COP26 on the horizon and questions around tech regulation at the top of policy-makers’ agendas, PUBLIC will bring together a panel of experts to examine the role of new technologies in tackling these issues – and other ongoing priorities including healthcare – over the next year.
Panellists will be asked their views on how Europe can work together to foster a GovTech ecosystem, and what it is that the continent’s tech startups need from Government in order to thrive?
