Sorcha is a Programme Manager at PUBLIC, specialising in Challenge Programmes and our GovtStart Program. Sorcha is passionate about using startups to solve social problems; a key element of which can be found in her work on the Prison Leavers Innovation Programme alongside the Ministry of Justice. She also developed the new interation of our Govstart Platform which focuses on how to expand the govtech community and focus on key trends in the GovTech sector. Sorcha utilises her financial background to work on grant and fund management programs for Startups to ease the process of working with government. Prior to this , she acted as a GROWTH Manager on the startup’s team as Web Summit and was in the inaugural fellowship of Included VC which is designed to diversify venture capital investments both through the investments they make and through the design of the venture capital model. Outside of work, Sorcha is a co-founder of The Hygiene Bank Ireland – A charity tackling hygiene poverty across Ireland and the UK.
