Sorcha works as a programme manager at PUBLIC. She is passionate about using startups to solve social problems. She first began working with startups during her time at university where she focused on entrepreneurship and has been in love with the startup environment ever since.Previously to working at Public she acted as a GROWTH Manager on the startup’s team as Websummit where she interacted with a range of startups from MVP to late Series C stage. Working on this global scale allowed her to understand the different cultural and size differences in the startup and investment environment. She was in the inaugural fellowship of Included VC which is designed to diversify venture capital investments both through the investments they make and through the design of the venture capital model. Outside of work, Sorcha is a co-founder of The Hygiene Bank Ireland – A charity tackling hygiene poverty across Ireland and the UK.
