Senior Associate
Carina leads Talent & Culture at PUBLIC, with a role that spans the full People function. As PUBLIC's recruiter, she's shaped the our end-to-end recruitment process and has had the privilege of recruiting over half of the team that makes up PUBLIC today. Beyond recruitment, she supports everything from onboarding, visa sponsorship and apprenticeships to learning and development, payroll administration and the occasional people puzzle.
She also enjoys helping bring PUBLIC's culture to life, whether that's turning pulse survey feedback into meaningful action, organising company socials, or supporting colleagues to bring their own ideas to life. Before joining PUBLIC, Carina was an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West of England while completing her MSc in Occupational Psychology, and she still loves talking about psychology and the research that continues to shape her approach to People.
Fun fact: Carina can close her nostrils and keep them closed for as long as she likes without using her hands. She's still waiting for that skill to become useful.
