Isobel is passionate about empowering the whole of the public sector to leverage technology to improve its services. Prior to PUBLIC, she completed a graduate scheme at a national membership body for local government, gaining experience across diverse teams covering workforce, social care, housing, culture, cyber and digital, and leadership development. Following the scheme, she stepped into the role of Programme Support Coordinator, where she was responsible for budget and resource management for sector-led support programmes, alongside line-managing a team of eight. Isobel also holds a BA in Politics and International Relations. In her spare time, Isobel enjoys trying out new recipes, hiking, and working on various craft projects.
As a kid, Isobel won an eco-friendly robot design competition and her class got the afternoon off to watch WALL-E at the cinema (it turns out she had won because she put eyelashes on the robot!). She also once caught a marshmallow being shot out of a leaf blower.
