Inside GovTech Spotlight: Roundup Two

Over the last seven years, PUBLIC has worked closely with over 300 GovTech innovators that are transforming every part of Government and driving better outcomes for citizens. To our surprise, many of these stories have not reached a wide audience or even crossed borders.

That's why last year, we launched Inside GovTech Spotlight, a monthly series showcasing the tech pioneers transforming public services. Through these success stories and expert advice, we aim to inspire civil servants with fresh solutions to complex problems and encourage innovators to tackle the public sector's most critical challenges.

Check out a roundup of our interview carousels at the links below:

Our first spotlight features Sameer Sehgal, CEO of Traydstream, a FinTech reimagining trade finance through AI-driven document scrutiny and digital validation.

Their solution enables major banks and corporates to digitise complex trade documents in minutes rather than days, significantly boosting accuracy and transparency. Already operating at scale, Traydstream is building smarter trade systems and opening new pathways for collaboration between FinTechs and the public sector.

Next, we sat down with Dr. Owain Rhys Hughes, CEO of Cinapsis, a health tech innovator transforming NHS referral pathways by connecting GPs and specialists in real time.

With their collaborative clinician platform, they provide specialist advice that reduces unnecessary hospital visits and ensures patients receive faster care in the community. Their solution has already cut A&E attendances by over 60% in Gloucestershire, helping hospitals focus resources on those who need them most through quicker, safer, and more accessible triage.

We were later joined by Claudine Adeyemi-Adams, CEO of Earlybird, an AI innovator using voice-first technology to transform how citizens engage with frontline public services.

With their AI-powered conversational platform, they empower employment advisers to cut through administrative paperwork and refocus on human connection. By automating preparation and integrating seamlessly with legacy systems, they are freeing up critical time for public servants and helping people get the support they need faster.

To round off 2026, we spoke with the team from GovWise, an AI platform transforming how organisations navigate the complexities of public procurement across Europe.

Its advanced Data Science and Generative AI model automates the most time-consuming tasks in the procurement cycle, helping organisations eliminate thousands of hours of repetitive work while increasing accuracy. By integrating seamlessly across fragmented eTendering portals and open data sources, GovWise is delivering massive efficiency gains, including projected annual savings of over €700k for major partners in the healthcare sector.
